Foreground sessions are defined by the user actively using the app (the app is in view). Background is when the app is loaded in the background but not actively used.
Our user timelines currently consist of foreground sessions, which are marked from the time the app is brought into view until the time the app is backgrounded by the user (or ended in another state, such as crashed, OOM'ed/Uncategorized exit, or user terminated).
